5 Favorite Business Resources And Apps

I am not a very "techy" person at all, so when it comes to building a business that is mostly online I have faced some challenges for sure. Having a handful of good business resources and apps is key to easing some of the pain and making it look like I know what I'm doing while I try to figure it all out. Below I will share with you, some of my favorites.

5 Favorite Business Resources And Apps -

1. Squarespace - Squarespace was my choice when I was ready to build my own website because it did not require any knowledge of coding and it is a pretty simple format to use when creating a new page. I do run into difficulty at times, when I am adding images, but nothing that I can't usually work out on my own or with a quick google search. I find it very user friendly and I like that my website and blog can be in one central location.

2. Canva - Canva is my go-to resource when I want to create beautiful custom images from my computer. It gives you the option to create images for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest; you can create menus, announcements, ads. Pretty much any imagery you can think of, you can probably create using Canva. It's very user friendly as well and offers a great variety of fonts and layouts to choose from.

3. Rhonna - Rhonna is an app that I use from my phone when I want to create a custom image for Instagram. I can take any image and size it to perfectly fit Instagram and I can add filters, text and there are a handful of free stickers you can use as well. There is an option to purchase sticker packages as well if you like to get more creative with the add-ons.

4. Facebook- Facebook can be used for both personal and business purposes and I use it for both, but I love it for business because it allows me to have my own private group for the members of my Live.Love.Budget. bootcamp as well as a closed group for Live.Love.Prosper. This is important because I can create closer relationships with more people and connect with them on a deeper level. This is a great way to build your tribe and connect with people who have similar interests as you. Business is personal, so it is important to have resources to help build relationships.

5. Instagram-  Instagram is another resource, like facebook, that I use to build relationships, find like minded people to get to know and follow. I tell my life story through images and it's a fun way to stay connected. There are a lot of very inspiring people who use Instagram to share their journey and their story with the world. The use of hashtags are important when using Instagram because they allow you to search and find related images and accounts to follow that match up to what your interests are.

Do you have any favorite resources or apps that were not listed above? If you do, I would love to hear what they are and why you find them valuable.

Thank you for being here,
